Dean Crassas

Dean Crassas

CEO, Port Medical Management

Dean Crassas’s business acumen is rooted in early exposure to international commerce and decades of hands-on experience. Raised by a shipping and freight executive who also served as a consular diplomat, he gained early insight into global enterprise, but it was his own career in the maritime industry that shaped his success. Beginning with a warehouse job at Atlantic Steamers Supply, he rose into upper management and earned a reputation for results. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Dean held leadership roles in operations, training, sales, and marketing across major U.S. port cities. Later roles in media sales and petrochemicals broadened his perspective. While directing sales for a maritime medical supplier, he identified a critical industry gap and in 2005 founded Port Medical Management. Today, the company operates on all three U.S. coastlines, known for efficient, high-quality medical coordination under Dean’s leadership.
